Radreise Hallertau Routenübersicht
  • Day 1: Arrival - Gütlsdorf

Individual arrival in Gütsldorf near Attenkirchen. Check-in and overnight stay at the Gasthaus Ostermeier.

  • Day 2: Gütlsdorf – Osseltshausen – Osterwaal – Au id Hallertau – Nandlstadt – Gütlsdorf

Breakfast in the hotel. At the start, you will first go on a shorter panoramic tour. It leads partly along the so-called Bockerlradweg, which follows the former route of the Hallertau local train "Bockerl". Just before Reichertshausen there is a viewing platform from which you can take a look at the hop gardens from above. Then you cycle to Wolnzach to the German Hop Museum (included). Here you will find out everything you need to know about hops, presented in a descriptive and loving manner. From botany to brewing beer, from cultivation to the hop trade, from history to the present.

  • Tag 3: Gütlsdorf – Pfeffenhausen – Ratzenhofen – Gütlsdorf

Breakfast in the hotel. Today's tour is a beautiful round trip. You drive from Gütlsdorf via Pfeffenhausen and Unterwangenbach to Ratzenhofen Castle. It is a lovingly restored little jewel with its own castle chapel and was first mentioned in 1040. Under shady chestnut trees you can enjoy fresh beer in steins in the beer garden (open seasonally, Friday to Sunday) right next to the castle and brass band music plays every Sunday afternoon. In addition, many events from spring to autumn offer varied entertainment. It then goes back via Mainburg, the secret "capital" of the Hallertau. Here the "green gold", the hops, are not only grown, but also processed and shipped worldwide. Around the central market square with its historic buildings there are many opportunities to stop before you set off on the last stage, via Au id Hallertau back to the hotel.

  • Day 4: Gütlsdorf – Departure

Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
