Superior casas are somewhat better furnished than the standard category, often in lovingly restored colonial villas with high ceilings, stucco and green courtyards. Your hosts welcome you warmly and are happy to give you tips for the city. From here you explore the old town on foot, a UNESCO World Heritage Site: Plaza Vieja, Calle Obispo, the cathedral and the Malecón by the sea. In the evening, Cuban rhythms drift out of the bars.
