8 days of cycling in Limone – one hotel, a new ride every day
On this hub-and-spoke tour you stay seven nights at Hotel San Pietro, quietly set on the hillside above Limone sul Garda with wonderful views across the lake. There is no packing and unpacking. Right on your doorstep is the spectacular panorama path of the Ciclopista del Garda, high above the water. From Limone, the boat takes you and your bike across to Riva and Torbole: through the Sarca Valley to Arco, along the old railway line to Lake Loppio and into the Adige Valley, and for sporty riders up the old Ponale Road to Lake Ledro. Straight from the hotel you ride up to the Tremosine plateau with the “Terrazza del Brivido”. One day is left free for a boat trip to Malcesine, an excursion up Monte Baldo or simply relaxing by the pool.

What is a hub-and-spoke tour?
You stay at the same hotel all week and take a round trip every day, so you never have to pack your suitcase.
Why do some rides start with a boat trip?
There is no continuous cycle path between Limone and Riva yet, and the tunnels on the lakeside road are not suitable for cyclists. That is why you cross to Riva and Torbole by boat with your bike. It is a relaxing way to start the day, with wonderful views of the lake.
Do I need an e-bike?
A regular bike is fine for the rides along the lake and through the Sarca Valley. For the Ponale Road to Lake Ledro and the ride up to Tremosine, however, an e-bike is highly recommended. We will gladly reserve a rental bike for you locally.
What is the difference from the hub-and-spoke tour from Torbole?
Both tours explore the north of the lake. In Limone you stay quietly above the lake on the western shore, with the Ciclopista and the Tremosine plateau right on your doorstep. The hub-and-spoke tour from Torbole at the Caravel Bike Hotel is based in the lively windsurfing village on the northern shore, with rides to Lake Tenno and Lake Toblino.
