Radreise Gardasee
  • Day 1: Arrival - Torbole Sul Garda

Individual arrival in Torbole sul Garda and check-in at the Caravel Bike Hotel for 7 nights. A wonderful week awaits you in one of the most popular bike hotels on Lake Garda. With its own bike manager, bike workshop and bike shuttle, the best conditions are provided. Thanks to its central location, just a few steps from the centre of Torbole and the lakeshore, the Hotel Caravel is the ideal starting point for discoveries around Lake Garda.

  • Day 2: Cycling tour "Torbole - Mori" & "Giro della Busa".

After breakfast we recommend you start with a short bike tour to get accustomed. Our tip for the morning is the short tour "Torbole - Mori".

    Level of difficulty: easy.

Easy e-bike tour for all fitness levels, mainly on paved paths. No special skills required.

    Length: approx. 21km | Duration: approx. 1:30h | Ascent: 340m | Descent: 340m

An easy but panoramic cycle path that leads from Torbole to the village of Mori and back again. From the hotel, the route first climbs to Nago, then continues past the Passo di San Giovanni, Lake Loppio and the village of Loppio to the turnaround point in Mori.

In the afternoon you can take the easy bike tour "Giro della Busa".

    Difficulty: easy.

Easy e-bike tour for all fitness levels, mainly on paved paths. No special skills required.

    Length: approx. 28km | Duration: approx. 1:45h | Ascent: 150m | Descent: 150m

A tour through olive groves and vineyards with only slight differences in altitude for those who want to explore the most important places of Garda Trentino. From the hotel, you first head to Riva del Garda. Here you will have to push your bike along the shore for a short distance. You then cross the bridge over the small Albola stream and follow the signs to Varone. The cycle path is completely asphalted and has only a few gentle climbs. Along the Varone stream, you pass the Varone waterfall and head towards Arco. Via the hamlet of Ceole you come to the monastery of Madonna delle Grazie and continue towards San Giovanni al Monte. On Via Verdi you pass under a portico and up to Chiarano. The avenue Viale delle Magnolie takes you directly to the centre of Arco. From there, the return route is via the cycle path back down to the lake as far as Torbole.

  • Day 3: Cycling tour "The Descent from Lake Tenno

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we recommend the bike tour "Lago di Tenno", a pleasant panoramic tour to Lake Tenno.

    Level of difficulty: medium

    Length: approx. 27km | Duration: approx. 3:00h | Ascent: 600m | Descent: 590m

From the turnaround point at Lake Tenno, the route runs exclusively downhill past medieval villages and vineyards and some of the most beautiful and panoramic spots of Tenno, which is rightly called the balcony above Lake Garda. The tour is also a perfect way to end a day on the lake or after visiting medieval villages such as Canale di Tenno, which is one of the "most beautiful villages in Italy", and Frapporta at the foot of Tenno Castle. On this occasion, try the typical carne salada (salted meat), which has its origins in this area. The itinerary is mainly made up of minor roads with little traffic, except for the section between Ville del Monte and Tenno, which follows the main road.

  • Day 4: The 3 Lakes Cycle Tour - From Lake Garda to the Ledro Valley

Breakfast at the hotel. Today's cycle route stretches through the entire Ledro Valley, from Lake Garda to Lake Ledro to Lake Ampola and is the most athletically demanding route of this week.

    Difficulty level: medium to difficult.

Medium to difficult e-bike tour, very good physical condition required. On some sections you may have to push your bike.

    Length: approx. 58km | Duration: approx. 3:30h | Ascent: 1330m | Descent: 1330m

From Torbole you go via Riva del Garda on the Ponale road, the old connection between Lake Ledro and Lake Garda, up to the tunnel. There, turn left over the bridge towards Pregasina and then right onto a path that leads to Prè. This avoids the main road. After the church, go straight on along a steep asphalted (and partly cemented) road. From Molina, continue along the Ponale stream and on the southern shore of Lake Ledro, enter via Pur. At the Circolo Vela di Lago di Ledro sailing club, a flat asphalt cycle path begins that goes up to Lake Ampola.

  • Day 5: The "Torbole sul Garda - Sarche" cycle path

The cycle path from Torbole to Sarche is one of the most popular routes in Garda Trentino. An ideal ride on two wheels in the middle of greenery.

    Level of difficulty: easy.

Easy e-bike tour for all fitness levels, mainly on paved paths. No special skills required.

    Length: approx. 53km | Duration: approx. 3:00h | Ascent: 340m | Descent: 340m

The Torbole - Sarche cycle path runs along the Sarca River and connects the shores of the lake with the Sarca Valley. The route is also very popular with pedestrians and runners. This makes it the most visited cycle path in the whole of Trentino. Turning point is the Castel on Lake Toblino

If you take small detours, you can reach various places of interest and refreshment stops from the route.

  • Day 6 & Day 7: Free time & relaxation

On these two days you can plan individual cycling or hiking tours. Or use the time to relax with culture and bathing.

Why not take part in the wine and olive oil tasting in Riva del Garda (duration, approx. 1.5 hours, already included).  It includes 3 wines and 1 olive oil, accompanied by local specialities such as Carne Salada and Grana Trentino.

In addition, it is also a good idea to take advantage of the dinner (also included, drinks not included). It includes either a 2-course fish or meat menu with starter and main course. For both activities, pre-booking via PDC Tourism is required.

  • Day 8: Departure

After breakfast, check out by 11:00 a.m. and individual journey home.
