This private tour takes you to the most beautiful cities of the ancient Silk Road. Your driver and your guide are there for you alone. It all starts in the oasis town of Khiva, whose old town, Itchan Kala, was the country's first UNESCO World Heritage Site. You continue through the desert to Bukhara with its domed bazaars and the Kalon Minaret. In the evening you are invited to a private home for a traditional plov dinner. Via Shahrisabz, the birthplace of Timur, you reach Samarkand with its magnificent Registan Square. A train takes you to Tashkent, where oriental tradition meets modernity.

German citizens currently do not need a visa for stays of up to 30 days. Travellers of all other nationalities should check the entry requirements for their country before travelling.
