Wanderung am Hopfengarten entlang

Hallertau Hiking Holiday – Family Hiking Time

4 days exploring hop country on foot, with or without children

Enjoy the journey together, at your own pace and without heavy luggage: this hiking holiday lets your family discover the Hallertau on foot. The trails follow quiet country lanes and woodland paths, passing hop gardens and small villages. Stop along the way to enjoy your packed lunch, and on the third day there’s a playground waiting for the little hikers. Your luggage travels ahead, and in the evenings you can sit down to dinner together at a local inn. The hop harvest is especially exciting from early to mid-September, when the farms are buzzing with activity.
