Lakes & Riviera –
Lake Maggiore, Cinque Terre & Lake Garda
8-day road trip through Northern Italy
This tour combines three of Northern Italy's most longed-for destinations. Travelling in your own car, you go at your own relaxed pace. On Lake Maggiore you take a boat to the Borromean Islands, with the baroque palace of Isola Bella and the fishing village of Isola dei Pescatori. Via the port city of Genoa you reach the Ligurian coast. From Sarzana you explore the colourful villages of the Cinque Terre by train. To finish, you spend three nights in Limone on Lake Garda, among lemon groves and lakeside promenades, with excursions to Malcesine or Riva. You stay at least two nights in each hotel, and parking is included.

Frequently asked questions
How do I get to the Cinque Terre?
The five villages are car-free. Your car stays at the hotel in Sarzana, and you travel comfortably by train, which connects all the villages regularly.
Can I do the trip with a hire car?
Yes. The trip is planned for your own car, but a hire car works just as well. Just ask us.
How much driving is involved?
Only on two days, about 300 kilometres each. On the other days the car stays put or you make short excursions.
