  • Day 1: Arrival - Urgench - Khiva

    Arrival at Urgench airport, from where you will be transferred to your hotel on the edge of the Karakum desert, in the oasis town of Khiva (approx. 35 km). Depending on arrival, first check-in at the hotel with the opportunity to rest, freshen up and have breakfast. In the afternoon we start with the first sightseeing in Khiva. There you will see the historic old town of Itchan Kala, which was included in the UNESCO list in 1990 as the first World Heritage Site in Uzbekistan. The impressive historical and religious buildings, such as the imposing Konya Ark Fortress with the Muhamad Amin Khan Madrasa and the unfinished Kalta Minor Minaret with its blue tiles are just as much a part of it as the Madrasa Muhamad Rahim Khan, the central and large Juma Mosque with its 213 wooden columns and minaret, the Tash Hauli Palace of the Khans of Khiva and the Pahlavan Mahmud Memorial, which houses the tomb of the saint and the Be burial sites of the Khans of Khiva.

  • Day 2: Khiva

    Breakfast in the hotel. Today you dive even deeper into the oasis city with oriental flair. Today there are a variety of sightseeing such as the minaret of Kalta Minor, the madrasa of Muhamad Rachim Khan and the minaret and madrasa of Islam Hoja and many others.

  • Tag 3: Khiva - Bukhara

    Breakfast in the hotel. Today is a longer drive of around 430 km through the largest desert in Central Asia. The red desert is in the southwest by the river Amudarya, the Oxus of the Greeks. You follow the course of the river and in the early evening you reach one of the most beautiful cities on the Silk Road. After checking in at the hotel, there is time for a first exploratory walk.   • Tag 4: Bukhara

    Breakfast in the hotel. The oasis city of Bukhara, with its historic center, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993, lies on the old Silk Road and is still an important trading and economic center in Central Asia. During a city tour you will see the impressive Ark Fortress, where the ancient palace of the Emirs and Khans of Bukhara is located, the Samanid Mausoleum from 907, which is one of the oldest surviving buildings in Central Asia, and the Job's Well mausoleum. You then continue to explore the well-preserved old town on foot and are transported by the historic buildings as if to another time. You can visit the Poi Kalon complex, which also includes the city's landmark, the Kalon minaret, as well as oriental bazaars covered with domed roofs, the Labi Hovuz ensemble, which includes Mag'oki Attori, one of the oldest surviving mosques, and other historical buildings. The Kalan Mosque and the Mir-e-Arab Madrasa are also famous. They have been teaching students of the Koran for 400 years, and above the 15th century gate is written "Seeking knowledge - this is the duty of all Muslims, of every man and woman".

  • Day 5: Bukhara - Shar-e Sabs - Samarkand

    Breakfast in the hotel. Drive to Shar-e Sabs, the green city and birthplace of the ruler Amir Timur. In the 14th century he planned to expand Schar-e Sabs as the capital instead of Samarkand and erected some monumental buildings. It has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2000. From the once magnificent summer palace of Amir Timur, the Ak Saray, you can see the spectacular ruins of the entrance portal covered with blue, white and gold mosaics from afar. Continue to Gok Gumbas Mosque and Dorus Saodat Mausoleum. After that it is not far to Samarkand, the center of the famous Silk Road.

  • Tag 6: Samarkand

    Breakfast in the hotel. We begin sightseeing of Samarkand's jewel - Registan Square and the three ornate madrassas that frame the square: the Ulugbek Madrasa (15th century), the Sher Dor Madrasa and the Tilya Kori Madrasa (both 17th century), covered in gold and turquoise colored tiles. It is not for nothing that UNESCO included this place in its World Heritage List. Visit Gur Emir Mausoleum, Tomb of Timur and Shah-i-Sinda Necropolis, composed of mausoleums and other ritual buildings of the 9th-14th centuries. century exists. And the heart of the city awaits you, the Siab Bazaar, where traders have been offering goods of all kinds since the days of the old Silk Road. The exotic scents and colors will transport you to another world.

  • Tag 7: Samarkand - Taschkent

    Breakfast in the hotel. On the way to Tashkent we visit the museum in the ancient settlement of Afrasiab, where the tombstone of Khodja Daniyar, the prophet Daniel, who is worshiped by the three world religions Christianity, Judaism and Islam, is located. The tomb is still a place of pilgrimage for the followers of all three religions. It is said to bring good luck if you circle the sarcophagus three times. Continue to the Ulugbek Observatory. Among the historical monuments in Samarkand, the observatory occupies a special position. It was built by Ulugh Bek in 1428-1429 on one of the hills of the Chupanat range. Another stop of this day is Gur-Emir Mausoleum, where Timur and some of his sons and grandsons are buried. Continue to the village of Konigil, where the paper mill “Meros” is located. There you will be shown the traditional production of famous Samarkand tissue paper using the old techniques. Transfer to the railway station for the train from Samarkand to Tashkent in the late afternoon. Arrive in Tashkent in the evening.

  • Day 8: Tashkent

    Breakfast in the hotel. After that, leave for sightseeing of Tashkent, which like no other city reflects the spirit of Uzbekistan, modernity, remnants of the Soviet era and oriental traditions. The Hazrat Imam Complex is the religious center of the city, with the Barak Khan Madrasa, the Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum and the Library of Islamic Literature, which houses a 7th-century Koran. Explore the modern part of Tashkent by subway. There you will visit Amir Timur Square, Museum of Applied Arts, Earthquake Memorial and Independence Square.

  • Day 9: Tashkent - Departure
